The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Peebles throws a low kick but Edmodson avoids it.
Edmodson misses with a jab, cross combination.
A telegraphed right hand from Peebles misses the target.
Edmodson looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Peebles has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Edmodson is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Edmodson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Edmodson throws a series of punches but Peebles avoids them all with ease.

Edmodson scores with a one two! Peebles had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Peebles moves forwards but Edmodson connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Edmodson throws a right and a left that Peebles avoids nicely.
Peebles fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Edmodson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Peebles closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Edmodson did well to prevent Peebles getting side control.
