Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Andy Acosta!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ricky Ricky!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Sosuke Kotani.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ricky closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ricky is looking to advance position but Acosta won't allow it.
Acosta is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Ricky's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Ricky's back!
Ricky tries to escape but Acosta has the hooks in and won't let him break free.

Ricky closes the distance and clinches up with Acosta, looking for a takedown. Ricky pushes Acosta against the cage but Acosta circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Ricky looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Acosta is fending him off so far but Ricky persists. Nope, Acosta circles away and we're back to standing.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Ricky seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Acosta does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Ricky keeps the fight on the outside.

Acosta closes the distance and clinches.
Ricky is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Acosta pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Ricky has Acosta pressed against the cage, preventing Acosta from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

and Acosta counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Ricky!

Acosta keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Acosta stuffs the takedown attempt from Ricky. Ricky gets slowly back to his feet.
It looked like Acosta wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Ricky manages to break the clinch.
Ricky shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Acosta sprawls well. Acosta wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Ricky gets slowly back to his feet.

Ricky tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Acosta paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Ricky lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Acosta has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Acosta and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Acosta wants to clinch.
Ricky shoots in looking for a takedown. Acosta tries to sprawl out of it but Ricky keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Acosta manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Acosta tries to close the distance and clinch but Ricky swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Ricky throws a counter combo.
Ricky tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Acosta paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Some wild striking there from Acosta.
Acosta pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Andy Acosta is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Ricky fails in his attempt to clinch.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Ricky.
Ricky changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Acosta tries to avoid it but Ricky manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Acosta to the ground. Acosta escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

And that's the end of the fight!
Andy Acosta showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Acosta has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
