The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Dean Styles and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Whitelock misses with a two punch combination.
McGee seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
McGee clobbers Whitelock with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
McGee defending well as Whitelock loads up on a big left hand.
Whitelock on the wrong end of a nice hook.
McGee moves out of range of the body kick.
McGee changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Whitelock looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
McGee is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Whitelock has escaped the position, nice work there.
Whitelock is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
McGee has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Whitelock is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. McGee yanks on the arm and Whitelock is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by McGee.
