Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Freddy Kruger!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Listin Bax!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Ren Mimura and Yukihiro Yamamoto.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bax drives through and clinches with Kruger against the cage.
Kruger can't find room to land a body shot as Bax controls the action.

Bax has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Kruger clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Bax is hanging on to Kruger's back as he tries to escape.
Kruger manages to reverse the position and now he's in Bax's guard. Nice work there by Kruger.
Kruger seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Bax controls Kruger momentarily but Kruger frees himself.

Bax is looking for a triangle but Kruger pushes his legs off easily.

Bax looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Kruger puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Kruger is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Bax is looking to improve his position.
Well, if Kruger is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The fighters are battling for position here. Bax manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Kruger looking to control the position here, rather than advance.

Bax wants to control but Kruger is keeping busy.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Kruger misses with a head kick.
Bax is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Kruger is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Bax to keep the fight standing.
Kruger tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Bax smiles and moves away.

Bax fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Kruger sprawls well initially but Bax persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Kruger holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Bax prevents Kruger from improving his position.
Kruger has his hands clasped together around Bax's back. He's all about the action.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Listin Bax will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Bax tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Kruger appears to be looking for a big counter.
No luck for Kruger with that takedown attempt.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Bax.
Kruger shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Bax pinned against the cage. Bax gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Bax is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.

Bax shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kruger has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Kruger is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Bax. Kruger shrugs it off though.

Bax closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Kruger's guard.

Bax tries to free his leg and advance position but Kruger is retaining full guard.
Kruger is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

Kruger pushes a forearm under Bax's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Bax is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:24 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Freddy Kruger!
