The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Allen swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Kangaroo counters with a straight right hand.
Kangaroo connects with a high kick.
Kangaroo tries a head kick but it misses.
Allen shoots and misses
and Kangaroo cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Allen shoots in for a takedown but Kangaroo shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Kangaroo is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Kangaroo connects with a high kick.

Allen is rocked!
Allen tries to close the distance and clinch but Kangaroo swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Kangaroo throws a counter combo.
Oh Allen is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Nice takedown defense from Kangaroo. No joy for Allen on that attempt.
Allen moves out of the way of the counter high kick fromKangaroo.
Allen seems to have got his legs back now.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Boyd Allen. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Allen dives in for a single leg takedown but Kangaroo sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the ropes.
Allen takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Kangaroo circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Allen drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Kangaroo follows Allen to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
