Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Liam McRae!
The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Sergei Dronov and Dmitry Maklakov.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Wasp.
McRae throws a big counter head kick but Wasp avoids it with no problem.

Wasp clinches up with McRae and pushes him back against the ropes.
McRae works on Wasp's body with a couple of short punches.
McRae lands a left hand that snaps the head of Wasp backwards.
McRae lands a body shot.

Wasp breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
McRae swinging wildly here.
McRae's coach down at Convicted Fight Club was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on McRae's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Wasp keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
McRae throws a leg kick but Wasp moved away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Wasp has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from McRae.
McRae dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Wasp. That did some damage!

McRae catches Wasp with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Wasp throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
McRae scores with a crisp jab that stopped Wasp in his tracks.

McRae is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Wasp looks to land a combination. McRae sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
McRae ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
McRae lands a jab to the nose.

Wasp looks to land a body kick but McRae moved away.
McRae scores with a slapping inside leg kick.

McRae throws a head kick but Wasp moves out of range.
A jab from Wasp finds it's way through McRae's defenses.
McRae circles away from the clinch attempt.
McRae connects with a body shot that sends Wasp's belly button to the back.
Wasp looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
A jab from McRae misses.
McRae loads up on a big right hand but Wasp slips the punch.
McRae scores with the left hand. Wasp knows he should have avoided that one.

Wasp moves into range and clinches up with McRae.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Wasp.
McRae misses with some punches.
Wasp jumps guard but McRae turns him against the ropes and keeps the fight standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gaspard Wasp. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Wasp is trying to pull guard but McRae turns him against the ropes and we stay in the clinch.

Wasp misses with the head strike.
McRae tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Wasp wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Wasp jumps guard but McRae turns him against the ropes and keeps the fight standing.
McRae misses with a body punch.

Wasp breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Wasp is defended easily by McRae.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from McRae! But no joy.
Wasp takes one to the chin there.
A nice inside leg kick there by McRae. That's going to slow Wasp down.
Wasp uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from McRae.
McRae rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Wasp counters with a left to the body.

Wasp moves in looking to clinch but McRae pushes him off.
McRae looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Wasp displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as McRae throws out the jab.
McRae lands a jab to Wasp's midsection.
Wasp bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
McRae stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
McRae misses with an uppercut.
Wasp seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
A telegraphed right hand from McRae misses the target.
McRae throws a leg kick that misses.
McRae is looking to score with low kicks.
Wasp tries to clinch up.
Wasp uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by McRae.
McRae cracks Wasp with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Wasp tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but McRae pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Wasp is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Liam McRae!
After winning the bout, Liam McRae thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
