The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Riseman throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Shifter only half commits to the counter leg kick.
Riseman misses with a jab, cross combination.
Riseman throws a head kick but Shifter moves out of range.
Riseman throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Shifter.
Shifter raises up his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Riseman lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Shifter circles away quickly and effectively.

Shifter moves into range and clinches up with Riseman.

Riseman's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Arne Riseman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Shifter is trying to drag Riseman to the mat but Riseman just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

It looked like Riseman was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

As Shifter looks to move away, Riseman throws a big counter combo but Shifter just gets out of the way.
Riseman fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Shifter.

Shifter connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Riseman lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Shifter at a distance.

Riseman wobbles Shifter with a right hand and the left hook that follows puts him on his rear! Riseman dives in with a huge flying punch that connects right on the button and puts Shifter to sleep! - What a violent and spectacular finish!
