Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Damian Hardacre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Grigori Rasputin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rasputin has chosen Symphony of Destruction as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Damian Hardacre has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Damian Hardacre seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hardacre moves out of range of the strikes.
Hardacre swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Rasputin darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Rasputin misses with a right hand
and Hardacre counters with a nice kick to the body.
Rasputin throws a hook to the side of Hardacre's head but Hardacre sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Rasputin gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Rasputin moves out of range of the body kick.
Hardacre needs to keep his hands up - Rasputin had a free shot at his head there.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Hardacre.
Rasputin misses with an uppercut
and Hardacre counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

Rasputin moves into the clinch.
Rasputin blocks a body shot from Hardacre.

Hardacre breaks from the clinch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Rasputin rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Hardacre counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Hardacre lets loose with a powerful body kick. Rasputin will feel that in the morning.
Hardacre connects with a body shot that sends Rasputin's belly button to the back.
Rasputin bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Rasputin misses with the body kick
and Hardacre cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Rasputin misses with a looping right.
Hardacre looks to land a body kick but Rasputin moved away.
Rasputin smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Hardacre is looking to score with low kicks.
Hardacre throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Rasputin finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Hardacre lands a nice looking body shot.
Rasputin moves out of range of the body kick.
Rasputin takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

The crowd cheers as Rasputin lands an impressive looking overhand right. Hardacre doesn't seem phased though.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Rasputin throws a lazy uppercut
and Hardacre counters with a nice body kick.

and Rasputin counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Rasputin throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Hardacre sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Hardacre displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Rasputin throws out the jab.
Rasputin is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

It looks like Grigori Rasputin has been cut.
Rasputin throws the left hand but Hardacre avoids the punch easily.
Rasputin checks a leg kick nicely.
Rasputin looks like he wants to counter punch here.

Rasputin gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Hardacre breaks the clinch.
Hardacre tries to land a leg kick but Rasputin saw it coming and moves away.

Rasputin moves to clinch but Hardacre breaks away
and Rasputin takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Hardacre cracks Rasputin's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Rasputin slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Hardacre can do further damage! This one is done, son!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Damian Hardacre!
A pretty intense looking Damian Hardacre took the opportunity post-fight to ask for a shot at the title.
In defeat, Grigori Rasputin stepped up to the mic, saying 'Seems like i will need to get even more mad then i am and put on an immense, intense training camp for my next opponent.'.
