The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, James Glass and Paul Tew.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thompson works Kaleva's body with a nice hook.
Thompson lands a slapping body shot.
Thompson cracks a nice hook into Kaleva's ribs.
Kaleva closes this distance looking for a takedown but Thompson circles away.
Kaleva shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

It looks like Ahti Kaleva has been cut.
Thompson changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Kaleva looks winded!
Thompson connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Kaleva's hands.
Kaleva doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Thompson looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Thompson lands a big uppercut and Kaleva crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Kaleva looks OK. Thompson waves Kaleva back to his feet!

Thompson is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Thompson ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Kaleva is still on wobbly legs! Can Thompson finish him?
Thompson throws an uppercut from hell that sends Kaleva clean off his feet! He's out cold! Thompson stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
