Drogo kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Tribes song. Khal Drogo could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Smash Williams's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams looks to land a right hand but Drogo moved out of range.
Drogo on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Williams shoots in looking for a takedown. Drogo tries to sprawl out of it but Williams keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Drogo manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Drogo connects with a body shot that sends Williams's belly button to the back.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.

I was talking to Drogo's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Williams is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Khal Drogo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Smash Williams.

Williams has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.

Sloppy strikes from Williams. Those never looked like landing.
Drogo cracks Williams with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Williams scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Drogo lands with a hook. Williams tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Drogo uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Williams.

No joy there for Williams, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
