Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Beast Boy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kwiwan Fogomayu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fogomayu is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Kyamadu. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Donald Grub and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fogomayu cracks Boy with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Boy has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Red Tri-Angle in the buildup to the fight.
Fogomayu swings for the body but Boy moves out of range.
Fogomayu drives through with a takedown into guard.
Fogomayu forces his way into half guard.
Fogomayu takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Fogomayu works his way into side control.
Fogomayu wants to lay and pray for a moment but Boy keeps working.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Boy tries to buck Fogomayu off but Fogomayu is having none of it.

My spies in Dr Hatsumi's Clinic inform me that Fogomayu has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!
Boy seems a little lost for a moment, as Fogomayu dominates the positioning.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Boy wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Fogomayu manages to pass to side control.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Boy lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Fogomayu has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Fogomayu and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Boy does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Boy ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Fogomayu moves away.

Boy has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Fogomayu is on him like a limpet, forcing Boy back against the cage.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Boy goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Boy misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Fogomayu.
Fogomayu misses with some punches.
Fogomayu pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Boy lands with a hook. Fogomayu tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Despite the aggression on Fogomayu's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
