Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lukeva Tutka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ray Mancini (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ray Mancini told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Saam Ante and Paul Aken.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed right hand from Mancini misses the target.
Mancini tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Tutka was well out of range. Poor timing from Mancini.
Mancini throws a leg kick
and Tutka counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Tutka pushes Mancini up against the cage in a clinch.
Tutka stalls.
Mancini is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Mancini misses with a hook to the ribs.
Tutka blocks a punch to the side of the head.
A frustrated look appears on Mancini's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Mancini lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mancini swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Mancini lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Tutka backwards.

Tutka will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Mancini up against the cage.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Tutka creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

I was talking to Tutka's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

A relieved looking Lukeva Tutka thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
