Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Henry Olonga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Willy Stoppers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Willy Stoppers told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stoppers dips to his left and cracks Olonga with an uppercut!

It looks like Henry Olonga has been cut.
Olonga throws a leg kick which misses Stoppers's front leg but catches the back leg as Stoppers tries to avoid it.

Good leg kick by Stoppers there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Stoppers uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Olonga.
Stoppers's corner calls for a 1-2. Stoppers obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Stoppers chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Olonga can pounce on him.

Stoppers lands a left and a right that send Olonga crashing to the mat, dazed. Stoppers thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Stoppers cracks Olonga with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Stoppers buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Oh Olonga is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Jeez, Henry Olonga's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

Stoppers tries a quick counter leg kick but Olonga is wise to it.
Olonga takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Olonga seems to have got his legs back now.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Stoppers, as that shot connected.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Willy Stoppers decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
