The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Paul Tew and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Noteboom fails with the takedown.
A little jabbing left from Volkov on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Volkov throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

De Noteboom forces Volkov back against the cage and clinches.
We've been hearing reports that De Noteboom has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
De Noteboom is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Volkov gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
A right handed body shot lands from Volkov.
De Noteboom is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Volkov can't fight it off and eventually De Noteboom manages to take the fight to the floor. Volkov looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Volkov manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. De Noteboom manages to get himself to full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

letting Volkov counter with a right hand.
Volkov lands a glancing blow to the side of De Noteboom's head.

A nice leg kick lands there from Volkov.
Oh De Noteboom is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Volkov throws an uppercut from hell that sends De Noteboom clean off his feet! He's out cold! Volkov stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
