The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big right from Halo misses.

Rambo postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Rambo drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Halo dives on top into guard.

Rambo shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Halo sprawls well. Halo wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Rambo gets slowly back to his feet.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Rambo goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Halo has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Rambo but great work by Halo.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Halo decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Rambo shoots in but Halo avoids the takedown attempt easily.

A very excited looking Sambo Rambo rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
In defeat, Michael Halo stepped up to the mic, saying 'Hold ur hand still so I can count ur fingers...last loss my morale was 90%. So Im a happy camper even i lose!'.
