Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pertti Silsa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stelio Kontos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silsa comes to the cage accompanied by Candy by Robbie Williams. Kontos comes into a darkened arena with his song building. 2 Unlimited - No Limit kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Daniel Bishop and Chris Edwards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab by Kontos.
Silsa dives in for a single leg takedown but Kontos sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Kontos rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Silsa counters with a left and a right that stings Kontos.
A jab from Kontos misses.
Silsa misses with a series of wild punches.
Silsa on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Silsa misses with a hook.
Silsa on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Silsa throws a body punch but Kontos moves out of range.
Silsa misses with an uppercut.

Kontos closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Silsa's guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Kontos throws a strike but Silsa rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Kontos seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Silsa wants to control from the top but Kontos keeps moving.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Silsa passes Kontos's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Silsa wants to control from the top but Kontos keeps moving.
Silsa is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Kontos closes this distance looking for a takedown but Silsa circles away.
Silsa connects with a jab.
Silsa definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Silsa scores with a nice right hand.
Kontos throws a hook to the side of Silsa's head but Silsa sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Silsa was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Silsa throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Kontos is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Silsa swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Kontos counters with a stiff right hand.

Kontos looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Silsa throws a perfectly timed hook that sends Kontos crashing down! Kontos tries to stagger back to his feet but Silsa just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused Kontos asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Pertti Silsa!
