Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jonny Chanbeskidzie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Orkan Dogu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chanbeskidzie connects with a looping right hand.

Chanbeskidzie takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Chanbeskidzie closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Chanbeskidzie has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Nice uppercut lands for Dogu. That snapped Chanbeskidzie's head back.

Dogu swings for the body but Chanbeskidzie moves out of range.

Dogu ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Chanbeskidzie moves away.
Chanbeskidzie closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Chanbeskidzie shoots in for a takedown but Dogu shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
A nice side step and Dogu releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Chanbeskidzie lands a glancing blow to the side of Dogu's head.
Dogu throws an overhand right that lands on Chanbeskidzie's shoulder, as Chanbeskidzie tries to avoid the shot.
Dogu uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Chanbeskidzie.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Dogu gets caught flat footed, as Chanbeskidzie shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Dogu is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Chanbeskidzie has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Chanbeskidzie is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Dogu has his hands clasped together but Chanbeskidzie extends and breaks Dogu's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Chanbeskidzie.
