Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zackary House (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sergei Medvedev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sergei Medvedev will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Valeri Chadov and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
House shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Medvedev but Medvedev pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Medvedev wants to counter with a clinch but House pushes him away.
House shoots in looking for a takedown. Medvedev tries to sprawl out of it but House keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Medvedev manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Medvedev is defended easily by House.
House leaves Medvedev with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
House tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Medvedev counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
House shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

House postures up in Medvedev's guard and throws a big left but Medvedev blocks it.
House working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. House connects with a nice short shot to Medvedev's temple.
House will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Medvedev is trying to stand.
Medvedev is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
House looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Medvedev with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
House prevents Medvedev from standing back up.
House is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Medvedev has managed to free his arm - good work.
Medvedev is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
House is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Medvedev defends it well.

Medvedev wants to control but House is keeping busy.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Medvedev dives in for a single leg takedown but House sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

House is looking to counter the offense by Medvedev and move into the clinch.

Medvedev bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!
Medvedev tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. House manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

It looks like Zackary House has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Medvedev rushes House and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Medvedev tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. House smiles and moves away.

Medvedev jumps guard but House turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Zackary House has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sergei Medvedev.

Medvedev jumps guard and drags House to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Medvedev is on top in guard.
Medvedev would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Medvedev is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
House working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Medvedev doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Medvedev manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
House really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

House had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Medvedev defends it easily.
Medvedev lands a couple of digs.
Medvedev sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed House's guard.
Sergei Medvedev has got the better of the ground game so far.
Medvedev stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Medvedev fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with House, pushing him back against the cage.

Medvedev has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. House avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Medvedev breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Medvedev has hold of one of House's legs. House is fighting the takedown attempt but Medvedev gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Medvedev stands and throws House's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Medvedev decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Horrible takedown attempt by Medvedev or perhaps it was just good defense by House, which made it look bad.

House doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Medvedev throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around House's waist but House gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Medvedev off to one side.
Medvedev is trying hard to land a takedown here. House sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
As Medvedev tries to get set, House tries to push him back and clinch up but Medvedev manages to avoid the attempt.
House stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and House wants it to stay on the feet.
Medvedev tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but House defends well and Medvedev ends up having to push House into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
House shoots in and bounces Medvedev off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Medvedev is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

Sergei Medvedev showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Oooooh!!! Medvedev has knocked House down with a huge combo! Medvedev steps away and waves a wobbly House back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

and Medvedev counters with a huge overhand right that connects right on the temple, sending him crumpling, face first to the floor! This one is all over! What a knockout!
