Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Crose McCringe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Craig Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCringe tries to clinch up.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

We've been hearing good reports from McCringe's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

McCringe tries to clinch up but Jones pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples McCringe to the mat! McCringe covers up and Jones unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

A relieved looking Craig Jones thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
