The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anderson throws a head kick that misses.

A looping hook to the body misses from Daags. Anderson does a little dance to reset his feet.
Anderson throws an overhand right that lands on Daags's shoulder, as Daags tries to avoid the shot.

Daags throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Daags buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Anderson takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Daags lands a lovely overhand right.
Maverick Anderson's cut is getting worse.
Daags throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Daags takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Daags scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Daags tries to clinch
and Anderson counters with a single leg into guard. Daags didn't expect that.
Daags keeping moving, preventing Anderson from controlling successfully.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Anderson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Anderson pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Daags is keeping the position for now.
Anderson trying to control the position from guard on top but Daags is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Daags is pressing down on Anderson's thigh, looking to free his foot. Anderson is holding on for now.
Daags throwing shots but Anderson is blocking nicely.
Daags wants to pass to mount but Anderson is defending the position.
Daags is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Anderson defends it well.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Anderson cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Anderson is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Daags can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Anderson wants to control the pace but Daags is squirming around nicely.
Anderson is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Daags has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Daags is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Anderson is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Daags is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Daags flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Anderson anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Daags and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Anderson slips an arm under Daags chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Anderson has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Anderson is squeezing on Daags like an anaconda would it's prey. Daags fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
