Di Vaio decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Pol manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Di Vaio keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.

Di Vaio works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.

Pol stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Di Vaio swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Pol would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Di Vaio shoots in for a double leg but Pol sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Pol tries to clinch up but Di Vaio circles away and keeps his distance.

and Pol counters with a big right hand! Oh Di Vaio is in trouble here! Pol follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!
