Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pies decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Pies not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Pies has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Pies looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Accord is doing well to control the position and prevent Pies from advancing to side control.
Accord wants to control the action here but instead Pies manages to pass to full mount!
Accord really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Pies. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Accord is working to get back to half guard.
Pies scores with a couple of good head shots there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pies in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Pies lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Pies working for a submission but Accord is keeping him at bay.

Pies really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Pies takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Pies's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Pies postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Accord looks a forlorn figure.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pies controlling the position easily from mount.
Pies has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Accord's face.

Accord is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Pies locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Accord is forced to tap!
