Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Henry Longbow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricardo Monteban (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Longbow's entrance music is Hero. A fine choice. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Monteban shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Longbow pinned against the cage. Longbow gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Monteban looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Longbow is fending him off so far but Monteban persists. Nope, Longbow circles away and we're back to standing.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Monteban crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Longbow - the referee stops the clock and Monteban gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Longbow. Monteban manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Monteban throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Monteban working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
Longbow moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Monteban chips away with some ground and pound.
Monteban wants to pass the guard but Longbow is keeping the position.
Monteban wants to control from the top but Longbow keeps moving.

Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
