The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Munch bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Hood sneaks out the side door and pushes Munch away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
Hood fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Munch takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Hood connects with a body shot.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A low kick from Munch misses
and Hood counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Munch thuds his right hand into Hood's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
A jab lands there for Hood.

Hood moves into the clinch.
Munch blocking some punches.
Hood misses with a short punch on the inside.
Munch wants to break the clinch but can't.
Munch is trying to drag Hood to the mat but Hood just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Munch is breathing heavily.
Hood presses Munch against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.

Hood drops Munch onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Munch is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!

Hood loads up on a right hand - it lands flush and knocks Munch senseless! What a punch!
