The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bullwinkle clinches.
Come on Yamamoto - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Yamamoto drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Bullwinkle gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Yamamoto on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Bullwinkle tries a knee to the head but Yamamoto blocks it.
Bullwinkle throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Yamamoto blocks it with crossed arms.
Bullwinkle with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

Yamamoto breaks from the clinch.
Bullwinkle fails with an attempt to clinch.

Rocky Bullwinkle seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bullwinkle tries to close the distance and clinch up but Yamamoto swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Bullwinkle tries to clinch up.
And Yamamoto tries to counter it with a takedown but Bullwinkle pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Yamamoto circles away from the clinch attempt.

Yamamoto closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Bullwinkle to the mat! Bullwinkle manages to get full guard.
Bullwinkle wants to get back to his feet but Yamamoto is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Yamamoto distracts Bullwinkle with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Yamamoto postures up.
Yamamoto throws a big elbow that misses.
Yamamoto controls from within his opponent's guard.
Yamamoto stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bullwinkle swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Yamamoto is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Bullwinkle is trying to stand up here but Yamamoto is controlling him well.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Yamamoto lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Yamamoto lands a nice short elbow.
Bullwinkle trying to get back to full guard but Yamamoto takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount!
Yamamoto postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Bullwinkle looks a forlorn figure.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Bullwinkle is trying to get back to his feet but can't.

Bullwinkle is rocked!
A big strike lands for Yamamoto! That's really hurt Bullwinkle and he's turned his back - Yamamoto keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Yamamoto jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
