Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Mcdonald (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aaron Archer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Archer has chosen Centuries as his entrance music. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 7 - 1, fighting out of New York, Kevin Mcdonald!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 18 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Aaron Archer!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Anthony Taglia and Eddie Farnsworth.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mcdonald gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Mcdonald wriggles free and stands up.
Mcdonald throws a head kick that misses

and Archer counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Archer.
Mcdonald is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Archer dives into side control.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Archer slows the pace down.
Archer's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Let's hope that Archer has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Archer in particular looking to stall.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Archer fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Mcdonald has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Archer told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.

Mcdonald shoots in and drives through. Archer sprawls well.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Mcdonald lands with a good body shot.

The fighters circle momentarily. Archer darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
A head kick misses from Mcdonald.
Archer is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Mcdonald with a body shot.

Mcdonald pushes Archer off and gets back to his feet.
Archer scores with a kick to the body.

Mcdonald is looking to wear down Archer with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Archer throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Mcdonald was covering up waiting for the punch and Archer finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Archer controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Well Archer has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
