The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rostovtsev throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Drotski.
Julian Drotski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Drotski walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Rostovtsev lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Rostovtsev throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Drotski drops down looking for a counter takedown but Rostovtsev sprawls and moves away.
Rostovtsev lands with a slapping head kick.
Rostovtsev tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Drotski avoids the head kick by Rostovtsev.

Drotski gets the takedown into side control.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Drotski has hold of Rostovtsev's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Rostovtsev seems comfortable defending it but Drotski has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Rostovtsev is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Rostovtsev is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Drotski couldn't care less - he's delighted!
