The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Sanders checks a leg kick.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Sanders has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
A big right from Lannister misses.
Lannister with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Sanders to score with a decent uppercut.
Sanders shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Lannister pinned against the cage. Lannister gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Lannister pounces like a tiger and cracks Sanders with a vicious hook! Sanders is down but not out! Lannister follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
