The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ballestrazzi feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Geissen's calf.

Geissen misses with a straight right.
Geissen throws a looping overhand right but Ballestrazzi ducks down to avoid it.
Ballestrazzi went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Geissen jabbing away but nothing is landing.
We've been informed that Geissen has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Ballestrazzi throws a front kick aimed at Geissen's knee but Geissen avoids it well.
Ballestrazzi throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Geissen sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Geissen cracks Ballestrazzi with an open hand slap.

Geissen sends Ballestrazzi crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Geissen is motioning to the referee to let Ballestrazzi up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

A very excited looking Shawn Geissen rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
