The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rustandi's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Rustandi is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Rustandi stalks Crux and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Crux's face. Crux staggers backwards, shaken.

Rustandi fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Crux looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Rustandi enables Crux to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Rustandi manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Crux is trying to trip Rustandi. He has hold of a leg but Rustandi is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Crux persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Crux takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Tycho Crux overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Crux lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Rustandi really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Crux. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
