Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Stan TheMan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Doom Unit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). TheMan comes into the arena with Get Up Again blaring out of the sound system. The crowd seem to be enjoying Unit's choice of entrance music: Doom Unit - Killing Time. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
TheMan feints and then cracks Unit's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Unit down.
TheMan scores with a jab to the jaw.
Unit scores with a jab to the head.

It looks like Stan TheMan has been cut.
Unit scores with a decent looking hook.
TheMan misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Unit counters with a head kick.
Unit lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Unit misses with a two punch combination.

TheMan seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
TheMan has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Unit.
TheMan throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Unit misses with a takedown attempt - TheMan sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
A little feinted left hand from TheMan on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
TheMan slips a jab and a cross from Unit.
Unit throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Unit's coach down at Gutz Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Unit's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
TheMan swings and misses with a hook to the body.
And Unit tries to counter it with a takedown but TheMan pushes his down on his head and steps out.

TheMan looks to throw the jab but Unit is out of range.
Unit cracks TheMan with a good jab.
TheMan lands a nice shot that snaps Unit's head back.
Unit throws an ugly left hook that misses
and TheMan counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Stan TheMan is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Unit throws a shot from downtown. TheMan moves away and avoids it.
Both fighters circling a little - TheMan finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
TheMan misses with a straight right.
TheMan lands with a cross.
TheMan misses with a low kick.

Unit looks to land a body kick but TheMan moved away.
TheMan swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Unit connects with a leg kick. TheMan looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Unit moves forwards but TheMan connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Unit lands a leg kick that knocks TheMan off balance momentarily.
Nice uppercut lands for Unit. That snapped TheMan's head back.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Unit.
TheMan takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
A left lands for Unit.
TheMan takes a swing at Unit's ribcage but misses.
Unit ducks under a wild hook from TheMan.
Unit is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Unit is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

TheMan is rocked!

Stan TheMan's cut is getting worse.
Unit throws an uppercut from hell that sends TheMan clean off his feet! He's out cold! Unit stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.

A very excited looking Doom Unit rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
