Donowitz kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Livin It Up. Hurmio has chosen Black Star as his entrance music. Tuomari Hurmio has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Donowitz is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Hurmio.
Horrible takedown attempt by Hurmio or perhaps it was just good defense by Donowitz, which made it look bad.
Hurmio looks to score with a jab to the body but Donowitz is just out of range.
Donowitz throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Donowitz backing away here, and Hurmio unleashes a leg kick that just misses.
Hurmio is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Hurmio lunges at Donowitz with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Donowitz's hand.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hurmio has both hooks in and is working for a choke. Donowitz is in real trouble here. Hurmio gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, Donowitz is tapping out! Hurmio wins by rear naked choke!

Tuomari Hurmio decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
