Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gabriel Dahl (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Blake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Gabriel Dahl has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Gabriel Dahl seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Chris Edwards and Phil Schofield.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blake throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Blake lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Blake takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

It looks like Jake Blake has been cut.
Blake loads up on a big right hand but Dahl slips the punch.
Dahl is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Blake stalks Dahl and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Dahl's face. Dahl staggers backwards, shaken.

Blake throws a punch but it's blocked by Dahl.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Blake lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Dahl breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Blake throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Dahl stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Blake stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Dahl.
Dahl slips a jab from Blake.
Dahl throws a jab but it's blocked by Blake.

Dahl steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Blake.
Blake punishes Dahl's body with a nice straight punch.

Blake throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Dahl stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Dahl.
Blake gets through Dahl's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Blake lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Dahl or not.

Dahl pushes Blake back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Dahl can't find room to land a body shot as Blake controls the action.
Dahl stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Dahl throws a punch but it's blocked by Blake.

Blake blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
A head punch on the inside from Dahl fails to land.
Blake wants to break free but Dahl has control.
Dahl scores with a nice hook to the head.
Blake makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Dahl lands a body shot.
Blake misses with a short punch on the inside.
Dahl definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Blake's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Blake just misses with a elbow thrown towards Dahl's brow.

Blake has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Dahl throws a poor cross that misses
and Blake counters with a straight right hand.
Dahl takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Jake Blake seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Blake looks to score with a jab to the body but Dahl is just out of range.
Dahl throws a head kick that misses.
Blake is clearly looking to counter with head kicks.
Dahl takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

It looked like Dahl wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Dahl throws a shot from downtown. Blake moves away and avoids it.

Blake lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dahl connects with a leg kick. Blake looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Blake jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Dahl has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.

Blake sends Dahl crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Blake is motioning to the referee to let Dahl up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Blake dances in with a quick combination. Dahl is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Blake snaps Dahl's head back. Dahl stumbles backwards against the cage. Blake steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Dahl's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Dahl just didn't come prepared.
