PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ready To Rumble (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cale Downes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Ready To Rumble has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Ready To Rumble seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rumble lands a jab.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Downes.
Rumble scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Downes doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Rumble connects with a nice looking jab.
Rumble lands with an uppercut that bounces Downes off the cage and back into range.
Downes throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Rumble's waist but Rumble gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Downes off to one side.
Rumble connects with a right hand. Downes shakes it off.
Good leg kick by Rumble there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Rumble lands an overhand right.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Rumble connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Downes's hands.

Oooooh!!! Rumble has knocked Downes down with a huge combo! Rumble steps away and waves a wobbly Downes back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Downes is rocked!
Horrible takedown attempt by Downes or perhaps it was just good defense by Rumble, which made it look bad.
Downes is still on wobbly legs! Can Rumble finish him?
Ready To Rumble has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cale Downes.
Rumble scores with a leg kick.
Downes gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Rumble gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Downes is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
