The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beast scores with a decent looking hook.
Beast misses with a jab, cross combination.
Nikitin swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Nikitin has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Beast finds it's way round the side to connect with Nikitin's head.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Beast can't find room to land a body shot as Nikitin controls the action.
Nikitin is trying to pull guard but Beast turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Beast was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Beast throws a wild body kick that Nikitin sees coming a mile off.

Beast cracks Nikitin with an open hand slap.

Nikitin looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Beast is doing well to control the position and prevent Nikitin from advancing to side control.
Nikitin wants to take a breather but Beast is having none of it.

Beast is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Nikitin in particular looking to stall.

Nikitin tries to clinch but Beast is having none of it.
Beast throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.

Nikitin sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Beast cracks Nikitin with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Beast scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Beast looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Beast blocks a head kick by Nikitin.

Nikitin fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Beast sprawls well initially but Nikitin persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Nikitin is looking to take a break and control but Beast is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Beast knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Nikitin on the ground.
Beast wants to get back to full guard.
Nikitin works his way into full mount!

Nikitin goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Beast turns into him and now he's in Nikitin's guard.
Beast will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
