Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Speed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joaquim Maria (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maria is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Kronos - Bloodtower. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Maria lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

Speed throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Speed lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Speed throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Maria's waist but Maria gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Speed off to one side.

Speed looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
