The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hendrix takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

It looks like Buster Hendrix has been cut.
Good standup being displayed there by McGregor as he connects with a hook.
Horrible takedown attempt by McGregor or perhaps it was just good defense by Hendrix, which made it look bad.
McGregor's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and McGregor duly obliges.

Hendrix is rocked!
Hendrix finds himself stumbling back on wobbly legs after being clipped by a right hand. He's up against the cage, ducking and weaving under McGregor's strikes but an uppercut finds it's way through and Hendrix falls! - He's completely out of it and the ref jumps in to save him!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Cono McGregor!
Cono McGregor decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
