A fine choice. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Abarai tries to close the distance and clinch but Fernandez swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Abarai tries to counter by clinching up but Fernandez breaks away and moves out of range.

Abarai has Fernandez pressed against the cage, preventing Fernandez from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
