Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bismarck De Jager (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Miro Bang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). De Jager kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Afrikanerhart. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Jager throws a sloppy body shot

and Bang counters by clinching up.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Bang has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Bang has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. De Jager avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Bang is trying to drag De Jager to the mat but De Jager just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

and Bang counters with a nice double leg into side control. De Jager won't be happy with that.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Bang is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but De Jager is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Bang goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, De Jager rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Bang's guard! Nice work there by De Jager!
