Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Hussein Stahl!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Bjorn Gunvaldsson!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Matti Vanhoillinen and Tarja Halkonen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stahl tries to close the distance and clinch but Gunvaldsson swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Stahl misses with a looping left.
Stahl takes one on the button.
Gunvaldsson jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Stahl tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Gunvaldsson manages to circle out of the way.
Gunvaldsson's jab looks to have found its range, popping Stahl under the eye.

Gunvaldsson has closed the distance and engaged Stahl in a clinch.
Gunvaldsson works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

Gunvaldsson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Stahl looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

and Gunvaldsson counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gunvaldsson is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Stahl had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Gunvaldsson defends it easily.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Gunvaldsson not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Gunvaldsson cracks Stahl with a solid left hand.

Stahl wants to sweep but no luck.
Gunvaldsson's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Stahl is looking for a triangle but Gunvaldsson pushes his legs off easily.
Stahl looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Gunvaldsson puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Gunvaldsson in particular looking to stall.
Stahl is looking for a sweep. Gunvaldsson is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Stahl wants to control but Gunvaldsson is keeping busy.
Stahl might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Gunvaldsson wants to free his trapped foot but Stahl is holding on for dear life with his legs.

The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Gunvaldsson's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Gunvaldsson takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bjorn Gunvaldsson dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Stahl slips a straight right by Gunvaldsson.
Gunvaldsson lands with a cross.
Stahl fails in his attempt to clinch.
Gunvaldsson is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.

Gunvaldsson feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Stahl sprawling to the canvas! Stahl rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Gunvaldsson finish him?!


Stahl is rocked!


It looks like Hussein Stahl has been cut.
Stahl backs away from a small jab... but Gunvaldsson lunges forward with a huge superman punch! Stahl crumples to the ground as his mouth piece is sent flying! Gunvaldsson with a spectacular finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:21 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Superman Punch). Bjorn Gunvaldsson!
Bjorn Gunvaldsson took to the mic in his post fight interview and said 'I told you last time... you won, but you cant really stop the Devil! The belt is mine!'.
