PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Yaniv Schulmann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ambrose Chisholm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Ambrose Chisholm was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Yaniv Schulmann!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ambrose Chisholm!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Cecil Peabody and Gwen Towbar.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chisholm feints a jab promting Schulmann to slip. Chisholm then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Schulmann slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Schulmann takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Schulmann tries for a takedown but Chisholm circles away easily
and Chisholm counters with a stiff right hand.
Chisholm loads up on a big right hand but Schulmann slips the punch.
Nice defenses there by Schulmann.
Schulmann really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Schulmann checks a leg kick nicely.
Schulmann is looking for a counter combo.
A head kick from Chisholm lands but Schulmann takes it in his stride.

Schulmann is rocked!
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Schulmann crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Chisholm - the referee stops the clock and Schulmann gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Chisholm. Schulmann manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Schulmann has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Oh Schulmann is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Chisholm's jab looks to have found its range, popping Schulmann under the eye.
Chisholm steps in with a hook that catches Schulmann right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Chisholm follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Schulmann looks absolutely devastated.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ambrose Chisholm!
Yaniv Schulmann was interviewed post fight and said 'Upon completing this tournament, which ends after one more fight, Im cutting ties with my current manager.'.
