The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rivfader dives in for a single leg takedown but Trail sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Trail stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Trail wants it to stay on the feet.

Trail shoots in looking for a takedown but Rivfader manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Trail's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Trail creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Rivfader got a little sloppy there for a moment and Trail has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Rivfader has managed to get both his arms back between Trail's legs - danger averted.

Trail throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Rivfader escapes and throws Trail's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Rivfader decides to stand back up. Rivfader steps back and let's Trail get back to his feet.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Trail keeps the fight on the outside.
Horrible takedown attempt by Rivfader or perhaps it was just good defense by Trail, which made it look bad.
Rivfader dives in and grabs Trail's left leg, looking for a takedown. Trail pushes down on Rivfader's head and hops out.
Trail throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Rivfader.
Trail lands with a kick to the temple. Rivfader shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Rivfader shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Trail defends it nicely.

Rivfader dives in and grabs Trail's left leg, looking for a takedown. Trail pushes down on Rivfader's head and hops out.
Trail fires out a quick counter leg kick but Rivfader just manages to avoid it.
Rivfader is looking to clinch but Trail is avoiding it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Cannondale Trail will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Trail bobbing and weaving well here. And he's unloaded with a massive right hand that drops Rivfader! He dives into his guard looking to finish!

It looks like Eirik Rivfader has been cut.
Trail will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Trail stands up over Rivfader, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Rivfader is still in real trouble! Can Trail finish him?
Trail arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Rivfader's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
