The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eremeev bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Lester's head backwards.
Eremeev wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Lester throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Lester moves out of range of the strikes.
A nice side step and Lester releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Good exchange - Eremeev coming out on top.

Lester scores with a spinning back kick!
We've been hearing reports that Eremeev has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Eremeev ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Lester moves away.
Eremeev misses with an uppercut. Lester saw that one coming.
Andrey Eremeev seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Eremeev is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Eremeev fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Lester has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Lester there as he acknowledges the shot.
Lester lands a nice looking body kick.
A decent looking cross lands there for Eremeev.
Eremeev really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
