The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Strife on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Strife cracks Shango with an open hand slap.
It looks like Papa Shango has been cut.
Strife throws a shot from downtown. Shango moves away and avoids it.
Shango throwing a counter right hand but Strife manages to avoid it.
Shango swings widly with a right hand
and Shango takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Strife misses with an uppercut. Shango saw that one coming.
Strife's coach down at Rabid Dog was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Strife's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Nice jab there from Shango.
Shango blocks a jab.
Shango keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Strife.
Shango is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Shango cracks Strife with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Shango has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Strife to stand back up!
Strife is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Crack! Shango connects with the perfect overhand right and Strife falls face first to the canvas. Timbeeeeeeeer! Beautiful knockout for Shango!
