Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Mario Stefulinac (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zack Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Williams has chosen Get up on my Level as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Zack Williams was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mario Stefulinac!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Zack Williams!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Tatsuya Matsuyama.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stefulinac misses with a jab, cross combination.
Williams shoots in but Stefulinac avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Williams misses with the combination.
It looked like Stefulinac was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Stefulinac throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Williams.
Stefulinac swinging wildly here.
Stefulinac rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Williams moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Despite the aggression on Williams's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Stefulinac throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Stefulinac throws a series of punches but Williams avoids them all with ease.
Stefulinac throws a series of strikes that have Williams backpedaling.
Stefulinac misses with a wild combination.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Stefulinac throws a right and a left that both miss.
No joy there for Stefulinac, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
We've been informed that Williams has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Stefulinac looks to land a combination. Williams sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Williams misses with a takedown attempt - Stefulinac sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
A combination from Stefulinac does no damage.
Stefulinac sets himself, and Williams steps forward looking for the clinch! Stefulinac avoids it this time.
Stefulinac throws a series of punches but Williams avoids them all with ease.

Williams forces Stefulinac back against the ropes and clinches.

Williams pulls guard effortlessly.
Williams has a closed guard, preventing Stefulinac from standing up.
Williams bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Stefulinac's guard.

Williams trying to control the position from guard on top but Stefulinac is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Williams is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Stefulinac is wriggling around but Williams manages to pass to half guard.
Williams working over Stefulinac with some ground and pound. Stefulinac looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Stefulinac is trying to stand up here but Williams is controlling him well.
Williams seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Stefulinac does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Williams is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Stefulinac tries to kick Williams off in order to stand up. Williams Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
Stefulinac wants to get back to his feet.

Williams is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Stefulinac looks calm but he's in trouble here. Williams gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Stefulinac is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Williams lets go of the hold and Stefulinac can pop his arm back in it's socket.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Zack Williams!
Zack Williams got down on his knees post fight and begged the management for a title shot. 'Please, I want that title shot so bad! Give it to me!'
