Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Leon Masters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Gattis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). James Gattis is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gattis closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Masters dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Masters avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Gattis has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Gattis tries to clinch there but Masters circles away.
Masters moves out of range of the body kick from Gattis.
Sloppy strikes from Gattis. Those never looked like landing.
Gattis takes a jab right on the kisser.

Gattis looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Masters stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Gattis looks winded!
Masters digs a right hand underneath Gattis's ribcage. Gattis let out a lung full of air as it connected.

Masters tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Gattis avoids it.
Gattis is still on wobbly legs! Can Masters finish him?
Masters lands a big right hand that drops Gattis! The killer instinct kicks in and Masters finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Masters!
