Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Mateo Alejandro!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Pyry Kontio!
The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Daniel Franklin and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alejandro throws a one two combo.
Kontio darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Kontio thows a huge punch but Alejandro dodges it nicely.
Kontio moves nicely into side control.
Alejandro knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kontio on the ground.
Kontio creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Alejandro sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Kontio looks up at the clock and then as Alejandro takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Kontio smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Alejandro is being controlled here.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kontio misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Alejandro tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Kontio grinds an elbow into Alejandro's temple.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kontio lands some shots froms side control.
Alejandro takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Kontio in side control, just content to control the action for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kontio has knee on belly and moves into mount.
Kontio takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Kontio lands a big elbow.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kontio throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Alejandro has his hands clasped together but Kontio breaks the hold and Alejandro is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Kontio!
