The crowd seem to be enjoying Velka's choice of entrance music: Cypress Hill - Insane In The Membrane. Miklo Velka has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Adam Bourque's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Velka is looking to land body kicks.
Velka tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Velka moves in looking to clinch but Bourque pushes him off.
An attempted straight right counter from Bourque misses the target.
Bourque ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Velka misses the jab.
Velka tries to clinch up
and Bourque connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Bourque scores with the left hand. Velka knows he should have avoided that one.

It looks like Miklo Velka has been cut.
Velka gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Bourque cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Velka throws a lazy head kick
and Bourque counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Velka takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Velka throws a sloppy head kick
and Bourque counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Velka misses with a wild body shot.
Bourque checks a leg kick nicely.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Bourque lands a big right hand that sends Velka crashing to the mat! Bourque stays standing though and waves Velka back to his feet!

Velka is rocked!
Velka is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Bourque doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Velka crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Velka's bad books for that mishap!
