Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vitaly Karelin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Barol Kedorf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Karelin might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Russian National Anthem. Kedorf has chosen POPEK MONSTER - DIRTY DIANA (MATHEO PRODUCTION) as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Sam Margolis and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Karelin throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Kedorf tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Karelin is in Kedorf's guard.
Karelin working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Kedorf's head.
Karelin postures up in Kedorf's guard and throws a big left but Kedorf blocks it.
Karelin lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Karelin with a flurry of punches that miss.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Karelin not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Karelin throwing strikes but missing.
Karelin throws a big elbow that misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

We've been hearing that Karelin has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kedorf can do anything to dispel that myth.
Kedorf parries the strikes from Karelin easily there. Karelin is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Kedorf to escape.
Kedorf on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
That has opened up Barol Kedorf's cut even more.
Kedorf takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
The cut above Barol Kedorf's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Barol Kedorf's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Vitaly Karelin!
Vitaly Karelin very nearly forgot to thank Highland Clothing amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
