The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Orsini tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Edkins counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

It looks like Alessandro Orsini has been cut.
Orsini tried to score with a low kick but Edkins checks it.

Orsini throws a jab but it's blocked by Edkins.
Orsini fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Edkins manages to avoid it.

Orsini closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Edkins did well to prevent Orsini getting side control.

Edkins has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Orsini is on him like a limpet, forcing Edkins back against the cage.

Edkins lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Orsini is looking to close the distance but Edkins sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Orsini crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Orsini is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
